Pacific Maintenance is a Newcastle based commercial property maintenance business.
Kaleb Paten, Managing Director of Pacific Maintenance, has big dreams and plans to grow his business, but was struggling to articulate how to get there. He wasn't confident his numbers accurately reported how the business was tracking and had a hunch customer invoices were being missed. Kaleb relied solely on gut feel and impulse to act on business decisions and didn’t feel he had any support in making them. He was worried about whether his clients were being serviced properly and didn’t have quality assurance processes in place. Kaleb was run off his feet managing the day to day business and struggled to find time to focus on the big picture.
How did Cole Consulting Group help this budding entrepreneur:
"Having Cole Consulting Group work within our business the past 12 months has been paramount to our success. I now have a clear understanding of our numbers, I have strategic direction, and I'm focused on doing what I do best: adding value to our clients and looking to our future".
O'Reilly Electrical Service is a Central Coast based commercial and residential electrical business.
Joel O'Reilly, Founder of O'Reilly Electrical Services, recently took the plunge and started his own business. Computer savvy Joel created his own Xero file, linked in his bank accounts and set up Stripe but wasn't sure what to do with the information from there. He was generating invoices in the file and marking them as paid, but couldn't figure out why there were reconciliation errors. He wanted to understand whether he was profitable on a job but wasn't sure how to check this information easily. Being a tradie on the go, he had plenty of receipts stashed in the glovebox of his car but wasn't sure what to do with them and whether to keep them.
How did Cole Consulting Group help this start-up:
"Jess was amazing at helping me set up Xero. I was getting frustrated with Xero, she ironed out all the kinks and helped me understand the software. Highly recommend Cole Consulting Group to anyone needing to streamline their business accounting".
